Cheryl Lang, MLS is the Manager of the Midwest Genealogy Center branch of Mid-Continent Public Library in Independence, Missouri. She was previously employed as the Digital Collections Librarian, and these positions have fueled the genealogy bug she acquired more than 35 years ago. Her previous library experience includes 13 years as a rural library director. Ms. Lang obtained her master’s degree in library science from Emporia State University, Emporia, Kansas and bachelor degrees in both management and computers from Webster University, St. Louis, Missouri.
