Janine is a St. Louis-based certified professional organizer and genealogy enthusiast. She’s the owner of Peace of Mind Organizing® and is the blogger behind OrganizeYourFamilyHistory.com  She spoke at RootsTech 2017 and at last year's St. Louis Genealogy Conference on going paperless and has written about organizing genealogy research for Family Tree MagazineAPGQ, the Association of Professional Genealogists Quarterly, and FGS Forum, the newsletter of the Federation of Genealogical Societies. She’s also the host of the "What the Pros Know" webinars for Family Tree University.

Staying Focused With Your Genealogy Research – It can be so easy to get off track and chase bright shiny objects when you’re researching your ancestors. Unfortunately, as your tree grows it can get harder to stay focused. Professional organizer Janine Adams will discuss some strategies and techniques for staying focused and happy in your genealogy research. The session will cover focusing your overall research plan, as well as avoiding being sidetracked during individual research sessions.
