Teaching:

Rounding Up Records From the National Archives (NARA)/Personnel Records Center (NPRC) – NPRC/NARA-St. Louis has a wealth of information for genealogical research. Heard there was a fire in St. Louis that destroyed files and there is nothing to look at, right? True, files were destroyed, but there are many items to look for at the facility. Both NPRC and NARA-St. Louis have their own procedures in viewing military files and other items. To get the most out of a visit to them, this lecture will describe what rules to follow. A few examples of archival groups will be seen and how to request them.
